Entspannung für Kinder - eine Aufgabe für uns Erwachsene
Guten Morgen (klirrend kalt heute und doch voller Vogelgesang)!
Dies ist mein erster Blog-Eintrag. Hier soll es um Entspannung für Kinder gehen. Es war für mich ein großes Thema, als ich den Auftrag für mein Buch bekam: Entspannungsgeschichten für Kinder zu schreiben und zu illustrieren.
Als Mutter ist mir das Thema nicht fremd. Stress bei Kindern und bei deren Eltern und Lehrern ist nicht mehr selten, sondern recht häufig. Menschen - ob erwachsen oder noch klein - haben oft das Gefühl, etwas nicht zu schaffen, zu wenig Zeit zu haben, zu hetzen, etwas Wichtiges zu versäumen oder zu vernachlässigen, was zu noch mehr Stressgefühlen führt. Kleinere Kinder bekommen davon Bauchweh oder Kopfweh, wie wir Großen auch, nur dass sie noch nicht wissen, woran es liegt. Sie können nicht sagen: ich fühle mich überfordert. Wir Erwachsenen müssen es für sie erspüren, wir müssen so feinfühlig sein, um Stress bei Kindern zu erkennen und ihnen zu helfen. Damit es den Kindern wieder besser geht, brauchen sie unsere Aufmerksamkeit, unser Mitgefühl, unsere Wertschätzung, unser Lob, Anerkennung - all das, was wir Erwachsenen auch brauchen, um uns wohlzufühlen.
Oft bekommen wir nicht, was wir brauchen - kaum Anerkennung im Job, statt dessen Kritik, nicht genug Zeit für anstehende Aufgaben, manchmal mangelt es an Respekt der Umwelt, manchmal einfach an Wahrnehmung. Wir ärgern uns und können uns oft selbst schwer helfen. Aber den Kindern können wir helfen, wir sind ihre Welt, wir gestalten sie: wir, die Eltern, Lehrer, Erzieher zu Hause, in den Kindergärten und Schulen. Wir können unseren Kindern einen Raum der Entspannung und Wertschätzung schaffen, einen Ort und eine Zeit, wo sie zu Ruhe finden, ihre Sinne sich entfalten können.
Dies waren meine Gedanken, mit denen ich mein Buchprojekt in Angriff nahm. Das Buch ist inzwischen fertig, es gibt vieles darin zu entdecken:
